The Taybank Gardens

Perthshire’s largest riverside beer garden

Our gardens are back open for the season from Saturday the 4th of April. View daily opening hours here.

The Taybank has one of Scotland’s biggest and most popular beer gardens, right on the northern bank of the beautiful River Tay. Our main seating area boasts views of Telford’s famous arched bridge over the river and the surrounding hills. Being south facing, it’s a great spot to relax on a sunny day and enjoy some sundowners – but don’t worry, we have plenty of covered areas for when the Scottish weather turns too! In the evenings the gardens are aglow with firepits, festoon lights and surrounded by the village’s cast iron lanterns.

Our garden kitchen serves hand stretched pizzas, seasonal salads and sharing dishes to enjoy by the river or take on a wander. We also have a coffee & ice cream shack which serves our own roast from the Bean Shop in Perth, a selection of loose leaf teas and Luvian’s ice cream. Our outside bar is always well-stocked with local beers and ales, delicious wines and spirits.

Over the summer, we hold many events in the garden including long table dinners, open-air cinema screenings, live music, parties and small markets.
